Some Medicare Advantage plans offer a Part B Premium Reduction (Giveback) benefit that may reduce all or part of your Medicare Part B premium. Also referred to as the Part B Giveback benefits, this amount varies by plan operators, location and may range from less than $1 up to the full Part B premium.

Please be advised that if your Medicare Part B premium is deducted from your Social Security benefits, any reduction may appear as an increased amount in your monthly Social Security payment. If you pay your Part B premium by paper bill or bank draft, the reduction may be reflected in a lower billed amount or a reduced withdrawal from your bank account.

This benefit is only available with certain Medicare Advantage plans and is not offered in all ZIP codes. You may contact a licensed insurance agent to find out whether any Medicare Advantage plans that include a Part B Give Back benefit are available in your area.

Some Medicare Advantage plans may offer an Over-the-Counter (OTC) allowance for eligible enrollees, which provides a specified amount for plan approved health-related products.

Less money spent on health products may mean more money available for daily necessities.

Availability differs by plan and location.

Many people are unaware of the range of Medicare Advantage benefits that may be offered in their ZIP code, so reviewing local plan options can help them understand what may be available.

Great news for beneficiaries! Starting January 2026, Social Security benefits for nearly 75 million recipients are increasing by 2.8%, providing an average boost of about $56 per month (roughly $672 per year).

Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients are seeing their payments rise due to the annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA*). Social Security payments reflect the increase beginning January 2026, while SSI payments reflect the increase on December 31, 2025. Individuals who receive both Social Security and SSI are seeing the COLA applies to each benefit they receive.

No forms to fill out, no calls to make – the COLA increase is applied automatically.

4. Medicare Beneficiaries with Certain Chronic Conditions May Qualify for a Chronic Condition Special Needs Plan (C-SNP) with a *Spending Allowance of $[minimum amount] or More Per Month for Healthy Food and Groceries

Some Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans, including Chronic Condition Plans, may include healthy food or grocery allowance as part of their supplemental benefits for 2026. Allowance amounts vary by plan and ZIP code, and some plans may offer amounts of $[minimum amount] or more per month for eligible items such as groceries and healthy food.

Healthy food and groceries for Medicare Advantage C-SNP members

*Spending Allowance benefits available in some Medicare Advantage C-SNP Plans may help cover plan-approved items and everyday essentials like groceries, healthy food, and possible more.

Many Medicare-eligible individuals with chronic conditions such as diabetes or chronic heart failure may not have been aware of all the supplemental benefits available to them. Eligible individuals with qualifying chronic health conditions may be able to access *Spending Allowance for grocery, depending on the Medicare Advantage C-SNP plan they select, to help support their nutritional needs of eligible members as part of their plan's covered supplemental benefits.
